The Kindle Fire is a mini tablet developed by Amazon based on the Android Open Source Project. The Kindle Fire has a 7-inch multi-touch display screen, thus giving it the name Fire, since it has color unlike the Kindle e-book reader. The device has internet access, allowing the user to visit the Amazon Appstore for streaming movies, ebooks, and TV. However, it does not contain the Google Play Store.
