A launcher is a part of the Android user interface that lets users customize their home screen and app drawers, launch mobile apps, make phone calls, and perform other tasks on Android devices.[1][2]

All Android devices come with a launcher, although there are hundreds of custom launchers in the Google Play Store, such as Microsoft Launcher, CM Launcher, and Nova Launcher.
